This style was named after Queen Victoria whose reign was continuing between the years of 1837-1901. Especially in the middle of the reign of Queen, this style was applied to both American and English furniture. It adds details to Rococo and Louis XV which are sources of it. Exaggerated curves, dimensions, loose furnishings in complex forms and carvings describe this style.
